Hits 105.5 met up with Sidney Jackets Varsity Girls Basketball to get their perspective on the regular season and how they plan to square off against Greenville in their first game of the 2026 postseason. 

Jackets Track Season is back, and this team is requiring all hands on deck! Hits 105.5 sat with the Sidney Jackets Varsity Track Team to talk about the few meets they’ve had so far this season and what are some of the adjustments they will need to make.

Molly shared powerful insights into how their agency works to reduce the trauma of crime by providing information, support, and advocacy to victims and their families — all within a courteous and compassionate environment, and available 24/7.

Ms. Sonia Jaziri, or Miss J as students call her, was in the Hits 105.5 studio Friday morning talking about the SMS Builders Club. 

The Workforce Partnership and the Shelby County United Way collaborated in the creation of the Career Coach position 6 years ago. Kelly does an amazing job working with students not planning on continuing their education, currently not enrolled at the Career Center, and not enlisting in the military.

Rachel shared all of the many activities that go on at the Center, like their very popular Move-n-groove, pickleball, chair exercise, and an updated state-of-the-art fitness room with an athletic trainer available by appointment. They also have many social activities including bingo, various card games, air hockey, billiards and much more. 

Dan Gutman with Sidney Alive joins Caleb to dig into some new festive items that hit the shelves for the Easter holiday, along with a past Autumn item. 

Traci Milanese, Executive Director of Compassionate Care of Shelby County, is a beacon of hope, providing quality care and compassion to the uninsured and underserved in Shelby County, Ohio, with a heart of gold. Traci debunked the myth that free healthcare facilities are subpar, revealing that their facility is not only clean and beautiful but also a testament to the power of community.
